Primary Schools

We have developed a range of soapbox cars for Primary Schools (gr. 0-7) that is safe, user friendly, light weight and reliable, to do the most amount of laps in the shortest period of time. We also bring extra cars available for any problem on the cars participating.

The obvious benefits of a soapbox car fun day, which are normally already sufficient to justify such an event, are:

• Team building and
• Fundraising ....

but there are some deeper and probably longer lasting benefits such as:

• Building bridges between children who may never mix otherwise.
• Enhancing healthy competition.
• Creating the opportunity for everyone to make a contribution to the ultimate goal.
• Allowing achievement within reach of everybody.
• Forgetting about troubles or difficult circumstances for a few hours.
• Giving hope that with some effort achievement is possible.
• To feel alive and be completely immersed in fun which has a long lasting impact on anybody's life.

Traditionally the burden was placed on parents and teachers with the organizing of such an event, as well as counting the cost of obtaining sufficient soapbox cars which is an expensive process, that would have to be paid by the parents and school.

Specific attention is given to the following details to ensure a successful venture.

• Minimum personnel involvement during event.
• Setting up of the track can be done quickly and easily.
• Concern for the safety of all participants.
• Striving to collect maximum funds in the shortest possible time, without any initial financial layout.
• Participation of parents and children will be approximately two hours.

With the right attitude, motivated teachers and pupils, and an active management team backed by our concept, a turnover of between R80 000 - R200 000 is possible. Children's participation is important, the more taking part the bigger the chances of success. Teamwork and a willing attitude will provide winners.
